A fun Summer Camp spread over 4 weeks that lets your young ones explore the senses with curated weekly themes .
Independent week-long modules to sensitise children to their self and environments through the four basic sensory perceptions of Taste, Touch, Sight, Sound -- the fifth sense of Smell connects them all. Each week has been lined up with curated educative, hands-on AND fun activities. A sub-context a day and activities that help them imbibe the concept is the structure of the camp through all 4 weeks.
Week 1: Sense of Taste, Apr 24-28
The week takes them through different stages of nutritional and taste evolution of humans with activities that allows them to explore different types of food and understand how we came about eating them and to understand what we eat in today's context.
Week 2: Sense of Touch, May 1-5
These five days sensitise them about how we protect our skin, a major touch organ. We have activities that will take them through the evolution of clothing. Weaving and dyeing and creating wearables are some of the topics that they will learn.
Week 3: Sense of Sight, May 8-12
The five days of this week will be all about colours, how we perceive them and how we create them. How the world looks at colours and how we use colours for our emotions too. Maybe an experiment or two will help them better understand these concepts.
Week 4: Sense of Sound, May 15-19
Last week, but a fully loaded and exciting week. This week would delve into languages and music. They have exciting activities for each day that they believe will literally leave a song on their lips.
They are super excited about all the activities that we have put together for this program. They are sure that these activities will put a step in their walk and a song in their talk... Can't wait to see how the children transform!
Open to 5-8 year olds, they have segmented the program into independent modules to enable vacation planning too. :) You can sign up for all 4 weeks or sign up for any 1/2/3 week(s).
